Teen WorkshopGrades 7-10

Just like our in-person version, this online Teen Workshop class will rehearse and perform a a full musical chosen to suit the registrants. Participants will come to Hoboken Children’s Theater to tape their roles, by appointment individually or socially distanced, and we will edit them to create a video for family and friends. Each week participants will learn acting, music and choreography. All actors will receive a finished video of the show.

The almost all-girl high school math team from Waukesha, Wisconsin, has lost – and then won – the regional math competition. They are off to compete in the National Math SUM-IT. These smart and funny whiz kids must unite to solve difficult math problems without getting distracted by teen drama and pressures.

Always witty, sometimes uproarious, this is the story of teens conquering anxiety and rivalry, finding a way to affirm themselves as individuals and as team-members, learning to win at math… and at life!
