ATTENDANCE
It is very important to be at all rehearsals. We understand absences due to illness, but do not register if you foresee multiple absences due to schedule conflicts.
CANCELLATIONS
We reserve the right to cancel any class that does not meet the enrollment requirements.
REFUNDS
Students withdrawing at least 24 hours prior to the first day of class receive a full refund, minus a $25 processing fee. Students withdrawing after the first class, but before the second, receive a 50% refund. No refunds are given after casting or for non-production classes after the second class, regardless of attendance.
Group Voice Grades 4-6
A wonderful class with one of our resident Musical Directors, Caleb Damschroeder. Caleb has been seen in Miss Saigon, The Phantom of the Opera, Cinderella, My Fair Lady and Thoroughly Modern Millie. He recently appeared on Broadway in the hit show Cabaret and in Paint Your Wagon at New York City Center Encores! He is a composer/lyricist and a member of the BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop.
This class will start you off with healthy vocal technique, working on songs and harmony work, and will culminate in a recital for family and friends.

Kylie Carson has a big problem: she’s different. She loves vampires, zombies, and all things pertaining to monster movies–one of the many reasons why kids at her new school avoid her like the Creature from the Black Lagoon. To sweeten up her image, Kylie starts a cupcake club (Peace, Love & Cupcakes), attended by three other socially invisible girls. Together, they forge a powerful friendship and figure out how to create crowd-pleasing cupcakes. But when Meredith Mitchell, Blakely Middle School’s resident Queen Bee, tries to sabotage their efforts, will Kylie have the courage to stand up to the bully and bring the school together?

The acting portion of this class will focus on character development and text analysis, and the students will learn the building blocks of improv while discovering the power of saying “YES, AND!”, as well as hone their ability to think on their feet. It’s the first day after winter break at East High. The Jocks, Brainiacs, Thespians and Skater Dudes all find their cliques. Basketball team captain and resident jock, Troy, discovers that the brainy Gabriella, a girl he met singing karaoke on his ski trip, has just enrolled at East High. The couple cause an upheaval when they decide to audition for the high school musical. Although many students resent the threat posed to the "status quo," Troy and Gabriella’s alliance might just open the door for others to shine as well.

Legally Blonde JR. follows the transformation of Elle Woods as she tackles stereotypes, snobbery and scandal in pursuit of her dreams. When Elle's boyfriend, Warner, dumps her and heads to Harvard, claiming she's not "serious" enough, Elle takes matters into her own hands, crafting a showy song-and-dance personal essay and charming her way into law school. Befriending classmate, Emmett, and spunky hairdresser, Paulette, along the way, Elle finds that books and looks aren't mutually exclusive. As Elle begins outsmarting her peers, she realizes that law may be her natural calling after all.

Once upon a time, in a far away swamp, there lived an ogre named Shrek. One day, Shrek finds his swamp invaded by banished fairytale misfits who have been cast off by Lord Farquaad, a tiny terror with big ambitions. When Shrek sets off with a wisecracking donkey to confront Farquaad, he's handed a task — if he rescues feisty princess Fiona, his swamp will be righted. Shrek tries to win Fiona’s love and vanquish Lord Farquaad, but a fairytale wouldn't be complete without a few twists and turns along the way.

Many moons ago in a far-off place, Queen Aggravain decreed no couples could marry until her son, Prince Dauntless, found a bride. Princesses came from far and wide to win the hand of the prince, but none could pass the impossible tests given to them by the Queen. That is, until the “shy” swamp princess, Winnifred the Woebegone, showed up. Would she be able to pass the Sensitivity Test, marry her prince and help Lady Larkin and Sir Harry to the altar? This spin on the classic tale The Princess and the Pea provides laughs and terrific music.
Teen Improv Grades 7-12
Come dive into the spontaneous art of improvisation! In this class, we continue to explore the fundamentals of improv while learning how to ‘get out of our heads’ and build a strong group dynamic. We will learn to make quick-acting choices, find cohesion as an ensemble, and strengthen our performer skills – all through fun games and exercises. The final class will be an improv show for family and friends.

In Teen Acting, we will explore the fundamentals of scene work and improvisation. The acting portion of this class will focus on character development and text analysis, and the students will learn the building blocks of improv while discovering the power of saying “Yes, AND!”, as well as hone their ability to think on their feet. This 90 minute class is jam-packed with individual work, group theater games, and rich class discussions. Disney’s Cinderella KIDS is an adaptation of the treasured animated film that will charm its way into your heart and remind audiences that dreams really can come true. When poor Cinderella is endlessly mistreated by her wicked stepmother and stepsisters, and denied a chance to go to the royal ball, she gets a little help from her mice friends and a lot of help from her Fairy Godmother! We Are Monsters is a hilarious musical that follows human kids into a monster cabaret filled with quirky monster characters. The adventurous humans uncover vegetarian vampires and rock n’ roll werewolves, gradually realizing there may be more to these monsters than meets the eye! Most importantly these monsters and kids discover the importance of friendship and celebrating the attributes that make each of us different and unique.
