Our very own Dariana Mullen is on Broadway in The Great Gatsby!

Dariana Mullen, HCT alumna, who started her training here at 5 years old, will be part of the new production of The Great Gatsby at Paper Mill Playhouse. The highly anticipated production will play October 12-November 12, 2023! We are so proud of her and can’t wait to see the show!

We are pleased to award this scholarship to Carly Gavant. Carly will be attending Northeastern University in the Fall to study Environmental Science & Landscape Architecture. We are so proud of all she has accomplished as an athlete and scholar, and how her time at HCT influenced her life beyond the stage.

We are thrilled to announce this year’s winner of the $1000 Theresa Labreglio College Scholarship is Nanki Nagpaul! Nanki will be attending University of Rochester/Eastmann School of Music, majoring in Psychology and Vocal Performance. The committee loved that theater helped her find her voice! Congratulations!!

The HCT Scholarship Committee, would like to congratulate REBECCA WEINTRAUB as our first recipient of the Theresa Labreglio Scholarship with her essay that they felt “embodied the essence of the scholarship in Theresa’s honor.”

This year our beloved teacher, Melissa Malone, lost her wife Theresa Labreglio. To honor both women, Hoboken Children’s Theater will be offering a scholarship in Theresa’s name, to a deserving high school senior, to be used as they enter college in the fall.

NJ STAGE MAGAZINE gives Hoboken Children’s Theater a bronze award for best place to see Children’s Theater in New Jersey!!

ABC’s forthcoming Roseanne revival has hired its first new cast member to join returning vets Roseanne Barr, John Goodman, Laurie Metcalf, Sara Gilbert, Michael Fishman, Lecy Goranson and Sarah Chalke. Newcomer Ames McNamara has been tapped for the series-regular role of Mark, Darlene and David’s 8-year-old son.
